Police investigate shooting of 15-year-old in Paterson

Authorities are investigating a shooting Wednesday night of a 15-year-old on a street in Paterson.
The shooting was reported about 8:45 p.m. in the area of East 37th Street and 11th Avenue, according to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Officer-In- Charge Isa Abbassi.
The 15-year-old was taken to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center as police sealed off the crime scene. The teen’s condition was not immediately available on Thursday.
No motive was given for the shooting and the investigation remains ongoing.
